Cisco switches factory reset

Resetting configuration to factory default (including with missing root access).

Connect console cable, press and hold “mode” button and power-on the switch. Keep the button until seen:

The system has been interrupted prior to initializing the
flash filesystem. The following commands will initialize
the flash filesystem, and finish loading the operating
system software:
flash_init
 boot
switch:

Let the button and issue the commands:

flash_init
del flash:config.text
del flash:vlan.dat
boot

Ready, wait to boot.
